Make Printer Catridges Last Longer

Want to get more prints out of your cartridges? Here are a few tips:

• Proof and polish before you print. Make sure your documents are spell-checked and proof-read before you hit the print button. You’ll save paper and toner.
• Print in draft mode, known as Economode in HP printers. Proof copies and documents for internal use often don’t need to be high-resolution. Choose your software’s draft mode for lower resolution. The lower the resolution, the less toner you’ll use.
• Redistribute toner. When your printer sends you a "toner low" message, you can probably squeeze out a few more prints by redistributing the toner in your cartridge. Remove the cartridge and rotate it side to side and front to back to a 45-degree angle. Replace it and print.
